Article – I Freedom (Moksha)

I want to be a free spirit….

We dream of freedom , we read of freedom, we think of freedom and above all we love to live with freedom . But do we understand what freedom really is ? Are we actually free ? Why is it so that even when we are able to free ourselves from one form of oppression, we simultaneously entrap ourselves in another layer of bondage ?

Politically , the world defines freedom as the right to think , move, speak and many more. Let’s question ourselves , is this the only freedom that we are living for ? Okay , what I believe is that freedom is not defined by what we do but whether we are going to be freed by the actions we do. We all are familiar with the law of karma and that is what we get is what we give . β€˜Sanyasi’ and β€˜Tyaga’ i.e. Renunciation is not the actual meaning of liberty . It’s obvious that one can’t give up each and every materialistic thing . Renunciation is when we fulfill all our responsibilities but without a selfish motive .

According to Geeta, one should not give up three virtuous works – sacrifice, giving and spiritual discipline . Not only this , freedom is incomplete without all these virtues .

To sum up , freedom is the liberty of desire for any kind of reward , for such compulsive work can only stunt full spiritual development .

Message:- We must fully partake of the result of each and every thought, word and deed .

Remember ; In this life we can never be sure that things will move as it is planned .

How beautifully worded facts. Will those questions be heard or proved ? Or actions be accepted as our freedom?? Always remains as questions until one become a change by doing it for oneself either a person or the Country. Powerfully written dear Anchal ❀❀
