Poetry X – ONE MORE DAY

Though you never said it to me
But I know you felt that way too
Though you tried your best to be my side
But I guess your love was not meant for me
Though we’ve been separated by the borders of loathe
But we still share the same sky
Though the nostalgic sentiments we shared have been eroded
But, remember you said few things never die

I know it was difficult and yet it is
But even in my last breath, I want you
I want your hands holding my thoughts
And your desires being fulfilled by you
I want you in the days
When you shine brighter than the suns
I want you in the nights
When your dreams have all turned dark and gloomy

So baby, let me love you for one more day
Let me miss you just for today
Maybe, we never showed our affection
But, I know we too carried too many unrelieved thoughts
So dear, hear me out for one more time
Let me love you for one more day ….
