Poetry VII — I wish

There were times when I was told not to cry

But I wished someone to wipe off my tears 

There were times when I was scared to speak

But I wished someone to hear my voice

There were times when I hid my pain 

But I wished someone to heal my wound

Yes, those were the times when I used pen and paper

Because I couldn’t pull a trigger

Well, Today I wish I could go back and speak to myself , that 

I was just lonely but not alone 

I was just in a different route but not wrong

Yeah, I wish I could go back and collect my tears 

Because I was too precious to cry…
